'Dorf' - 1976 Ford Transit

Having been off the road and neglected for a number of years Dorf needed a lot of work when we first acquired her. We've since replaced all the rotten wood and rusted metal, rebuilt the carb, and got her back on the road. This year we're planning to overhaul the interior, respray the cab and body, and strip the engine. Aiming to be finished by late Summer 2024 when we'll need to decide what to do with her.

'Blau' - 1983 Mercedes T2 406D

Blau is something of a longterm labour of love. We've finished the structural welding, but she still needs a bit more work on the body, including the roof which is currently more body filler than metal and lets in considerably more water than would be ideal. If that goes to plan we'll hopefully respray her this Summer and fix a number of mechanical and electrical issues. We're aiming to be using her as a van regularly by the end of the year and then converting her to a full time home in 2025.
